El aclamado baterista Hellhammer (Jan-Axel Von Blomberg) se ha unido a la actual formación de Gorgoroth.
Hace unos días, el guitarrista Infernus anunciaba la separación de Gorgoroth, pero el vocalista Gaahl y el bajista King han decidido continuar con la agrupación y bajo el nombre de Gorgoroth, hecho que ha desatado una disputa legal entre Infernus y los demás integrantes por los derechos del nombre "Gorgoroth".
El siguiente, es un comunicado aparecido en el sitio oficial de la banda , www.gorgoroth.org, donde se anuncia el ingreso de Hellhammer.

Continuing on with the new agenda now forged for GORGOROTH, Gaahl and King have enlisted none other than Hellhammer (MAYHEM, DIMMU BORGIR) to join them on battery beginning in 2008.
"Gaahl and King are creating a force which will only contain members of a strong and creative energy in honor of the art that is GORGOROTH and their renewed sense of destruction and war! Hellhammer possesses these ideals and he will add another dimension to this new and different beginning.
"Please welcome Hellhammer to the battle!"

Continuando con la nueva agenda ahora forjada por GORGOROTH, Gaahl y King enlistaron no a otro que Hellhammer ( Mayhem, Dimmu Borgir) para tocar con ellos en la batería, comenzando en 2008.
Gaahl y King están creando una fuerza la cual solo podrá contener miembros de una fuerte y creativa energía en honor del arte que dimensiona este nuevo y diferente comienzo.
